Development of marketing strategy, information and service support for Leningrad Oblast region, co-operating with EU countries (Acronym: "Oblast Marketing")


Brief project description

The main project objectives are: to enforce marketing of the Region, to make international SME business relations easier. The objectives could be achieved by:

A) The brief marketing analysis of Leningrad oblast region;

B) Development of a marketing strategy for the Leningrad oblast which will function as a main frame for deciding on relevant information as well information media;

C) Developing and producing business to business information materials, describing the Leningrad oblast business culture, business rules, methods and regulations;

D) Creating a "one stop shop" information point, where cross-border companies can receive service and information on their business entry in the Leningrad oblast;

E) Training of the staff working in the "one stop shop" information point and in the Leningrad oblast municipalities as business assistance/advice officers.

Project outcomes:

  • increasing of co-operation links and understanding between Leningrad oblast region and neighbouring countries (regions);
  • increasing export/import figures;
  • increasing of investment attractiveness;
  • increasing national and international interest to the relevant areas;
  • creation of information marketing resources;
  • increasing number of new foreign comers to the region etc.
