Project description

The aim of the project is to provide assistance in the establishment of infrastructure required for folk arts industry, produce a wide range of articles from mass-produced goods up to individually designed author’s copies, promote marketing and sale of products of vernacular arts and crafts industry, promote the product on to world market, introduce the possibilities for collaboration with Western business partners.

Another aim is to develop the general conception for FAC’s activity with regard to the specifics of national culture and economic development.

Central objectives

Central objectives of the project are:

  1. to develop a general guideline for vernacular arts and crafts industry with regard to the specifics of national culture and economic development.

  2. to specify the product range in terms of its prospect of success and main art characteristics depending on market requirements.

  3. to determine general and specific conditions of the population practical work as well as a potential industry output.

  4. to render assistance in establishment of small enterprises for fabrication of VAC.

  5. to render assistance in formation of stable marketing outlets.

  6. to provide for professional training.

  7. to assist in establishment of business contacts.

  8. to disseminate information about operating companies and their products.

  9. to render assistance in launching joint businesses to promote products on to the world market which will allow partners to open new jobs. 

Expected benefits

Project implementation will promote the development of the cooperation with the western countries, deeper understanding of the cultural traditions, promotion of the national culture and the same time will attract specialists to the FAC business.
