  • Completeness of the application (application form, annexes, co-financing statements)

  • Cross check of relevant co-financing statements
  • Compliance with section 2.1. of the Programme Complement in force (legal status of lead partner and project partners receiving BSR INTERREG III B funds)
  • Cross check of partners in objective 1 areas

First meeting of A-team

Introduction of assessment procedures including

  • Summary of the programme’s focus and objectives
  • Timetable and workflow of the A-team
  • Presentation of the assessment sheet and its various parts (project/partnership; budget/finances; management/promotion)

(b) Quality assessment

  • Internal discussion and co-ordination by the specialists of the three groups (thematic fields)
  • Joint discussion and aggregated conclusion of each project’s main features
  • Recommendation to the SC on approval/rejection
