Main aims of
the
BSR INTERREG IIIB
Programme are development of transeuropean cooperation, achievement of the
highest level of spatial integration and competitiveness by enhancing of
regional, economic and social interaction as well as encouragement of
harmonious and balanced development of the European territory.
BSR INTERREG III B Programme is financing by the European Regional
Development Fund (ERDF). Co-financing is implementing from the side of
national partners.
The projects
falling in this scope of priorities and measures, and attracting partners
from different
Baltic Sea Region
countries will
be eligible to receive ERDF support.
Calls for
project applications are annually organized (the first call was announced in
Autumn 2001).
Project period is 2001
– 2006; project implementation period is up to 2008. The projects should be
no more then three years. The results of BSR INTERREG III B Programme
implementation will be frame plans and sector concepts for definite
territories; feasibility studies including development of investment plans;
marketing and management concepts; infrastructure investment into model and
pilot projects of transnational significance; transnational networks of
cooperation and data bases.
